Job Description
Seeking board-certified physicians, the part-time remote Hematology/Oncology Physician Reviewer will conduct independent medical case reviews for the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on quality assessments and improvement opportunities while maintaining a flexible schedule.
##### Key Responsibilities
Conduct objective medical case reviews using standardized assessment criteria
Evaluate the timeliness and appropriateness of care provided, identifying quality improvement opportunities
Provide expert medical opinions on complex clinical scenarios from an impartial, evidence-based perspective
##### Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted physician license in any U.S. state or territory
Board certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the specialty
Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical practice relevant to case reviews
Actively engaged in direct patient care (minimum 20 clinical hours per month)
