Job description
The primary role of housekeeping staff is to clean all areas of Te Wanaka Lodge and Wanaka Selection properties thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience, by having excellent standards of cleanliness.
Preferred requirements
Be able to maintain the highest standard of work
Work hard, effectively and well under pressure
Essential requirements
Have proof of right to work in New Zealand (NZ)
Have a NZ bank account and IRD number
Have a full drivers licence and be legally able to drive in NZ
Be able to converse in English
Able to work mornings, weekends, evenings, school and public holidays
Must be able to pass a police check
Main responsibilities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all Te Wanaka Lodge and Wanaka Selection Properties areas
Clean, Service and Prepare all Lodge guest rooms and Wanaka Selection properties, in line with company policy
Work to daily and weekly job lists.
Complete all periodical tasks, as outlined in the monthly and spring cleaning checklists
Submit all items left in lodge guest room/houses to lost property and items record in lost property book
Store all clean, damaged and soiled laundry in line with company policy
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment at all times
Keep housekeeping car clean and fully stocked and advise line manager when stocks are running out
Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment
Report any security issues to line manager
Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
