- MDM Platforms: Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM , Data Quality profiling tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality).
- SQL: Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, querying, and manipulation.
- Data Integration: Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and batch processing.
- Scripting: Experience with Shell scripting (Unix/Linux) or Python for automation is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and business teams.
- Tools: Familiarity with ServiceNow or JIRA for incident tracking.
Nice To Haves (Preferred)
- Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Roles & Responsibilities
Position: MDM Analyst
Job Summary
The MDM Analyst ensures the health, accuracy, and availability of Master Data (Customer, Vendor, Product, etc.) in production environments. This role acts as a bridge between data governance and technical support, playing a critical role in monitoring data flows, resolving production incidents, and performing root cause analysis to maintain high data quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Production Support & Incident Management
- Provide Level 3 production support for MDM systems (e.g., Informatica).
- Act as the primary contact for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving production incidents related to MDM, data quality, and syndication to downstream systems.
- Work under strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to troubleshoot and fix data-related issues, including failed batch jobs, data loading errors, and user-reported bugs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production incidents and implement permanent, proactive fixes to prevent reoccurrence.
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure, database teams, and upstream/downstream application teams to resolve data pipeline failures.
- MDM Data Operations & Analysis
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production MDM batch jobs for data loading and synchronization.
- Analyze large data sets to detect anomalies, data errors, and duplicates in the system.
- Perform data cleansing, matching, merging, and stewardship activities to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze and correct data errors related to costing, location, or attributes in core systems.
- Change Management & Documentation
- Maintain and update operational runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
- Create technical documentation for data mappings and data transformation logic.
- Data Governance Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data stewards to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with data governance policies.
- Provide training and support to end-users on MDM system functionalities.
- Data Integration:
- Develop and maintain real-time and batch data interfaces between the MDM hub and downstream systems using APIs, REST/SOAP services, or ETL tools.
- System Configuration:
- Design and develop MDM hub components, including landing, staging, base objects, match/merge rules, survivorship, and trust configurations.
- Data Modeling & Quality:
- Design logical data models, implement data quality rules, and perform data profiling to ensure data integrity.

Should have worked with Business stakeholders and senior Leadership in the organization.
