Janitorial Program Specialist
Job Description
**What to Expect**
As the initial point of contact, they will be crucial in ensuring sites are always in a clean, healthy, and safe environment for employees by working daily with janitorial staff and Workplace Operations partners. This individual possesses strong administrative and organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail, all of which contribute to the efficient and professional operation of the office. They excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resourcefulness, adaptability, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
**What You'll Do**
- Handle procurement orders, oversee inventory control and janitorial service tickets using internal ticket system (WATT)
- Responsible for managing singular and recurring spend requests
- Responsible for managing monthly janitorial orders and office supply orders
- Responsible for managing supply budget
- Handle equipment repairs/replacement requests using janitorial ticketing system (WATT)
- Provide admin support during meetings and request vendor proposals
- Janitorial, confidential shredding, laundry, rental equipment, and more
**What You'll Bring**
- 3+ years of experience in a service-based industry (e.g., janitorial, facilities management, hospitality, sanitation, or property management)
- Strong knowledge of janitorial operations, including staffing, service delivery, and related processes
- Prior experience in operations, account management, project management, or supervisory roles (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites, competing priorities, and diverse client needs in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direct supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn internal systems, reporting tools, and flexibility to work varied schedules (including some evenings) based on client requirements
