Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Queenstown team. About the Role

Based in our Queenstown office, you'll work closely with our Associate/Manager, and Senior Quantity Surveyor, gaining hands-on experience across estimating, cost planning, bank funding, development finance, and post-contract services while building your technical and commercial expertise.

• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, cost plans, and tender documentation across a diverse range of projects

• Assist with lender reporting, drawdown assessments, development finance monitoring, and due diligence services

• Support the delivery of procurement and post-contract services including variations, progress claims, cost reporting, and final accounts

• Attend project, client, and funding meetings, contributing to discussions, and developing your stakeholder management skills

• Work alongside experienced team members to provide commercial advice and cost management support to clients

• Build relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, lenders, and other project stakeholders

• Develop your technical capability through mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job learning opportunities

What You'll Bring

• 0-3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience, ideally within a PQS consultancy environment

• A sound understanding of New Zealand construction practices and contracts

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop professionally
