ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our Awarua plant in Invercargill, as a Laboratory Technician you will be supporting the quality control and environmental functions at the Awarua operations site by providing analytical support to satisfy business requirements. A typical day could include:
Carrying out routine and non-routine testing for quality assurance
Ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated
Reporting and distributing test results as required
Auditing effectiveness of site systems and
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement
ABOUT YOU
You're a go-getter with a passion for continuous improvement and an eye for detail. Ideally, you'll also have:
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong data analysis and statistical process to track product quality
High attention to detail
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Experience working with Word and Excel
