**About the Team and Role**

---------------------------

Scribd is evolving from one of the world’s largest document libraries into a platform where active knowledge building happens. With a library of 300 million documents and over 250 million monthly visitors, our next chapter focuses on helping users move from simply finding information to building deep, actionable understanding.

As a Lead Product Analyst, you will partner directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers leading this zero-to-one transformation. Together, you will define how success is measured, de-risk product bets, and translate emerging user behaviors into clear product direction.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, experimentation, and data foundations, helping turn ML- and LLM-powered capabilities into measurable, high-impact user experiences. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Machine Learning teams to ensure that innovation is grounded in insight, rigor, and real user value.

**About You**

-------------

You are a strategic and deeply analytical thinker who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. You don’t just answer questions—you help define them.

You are comfortable operating in zero-to-one spaces, where data is incomplete and frameworks must be built from scratch. You bring structure to ambiguity, helping product teams make confident decisions even when information is imperfect.

You enjoy partnering closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and ensure that every initiative is grounded in measurable outcomes.

**You Will**

------------

### **Act as the analytical partner to product strategy**

  • Partner directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap through data-informed insights
  • Translate high-level product bets into clear measurement frameworks, defining success metrics for core user journeys at a company level
  • Support prioritization by sizing opportunities, modeling impact, and clarifying trade-offs in ambiguous problem spaces

### **Drive decision-making in zero-to-one environments**

  • Develop analytical approaches where data may be sparse or evolving, creating structure in new product areas
  • Identify leading indicators of success for emerging ML/LLM-powered experiences
  • Help the team navigate uncertainty by combining data, experimentation, and strong analytical judgment

### **Own experimentation and product learning**

  • Design and evaluate experiments (A/B tests and beyond) to validate product hypotheses and guide iteration
  • Partner with Product and ML teams to measure the impact of new features, workflows, and personalization systems
  • Establish best practices for experimentation, ensuring rigor while enabling rapid learning cycles

### **Build foundational measurement systems**

  • Define KPIs and metrics frameworks for new and evolving product experiences
  • Lead efforts around event instrumentation, tracking taxonomy, and data quality to ensure trustworthy insights
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and ML teams to ensure scalable, reliable data infrastructure

### **Translate data into influence**

  • Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to cross-functional and executive stakeholders
  • Provide actionable recommendations that directly inform product direction and roadmap decisions
  • Elevate how the organization uses data to make strategic decisions

**You Have**

------------

  • 7+ years of experience in product analytics or a related field, with a track record of influencing product and business outcomes
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Managers on strategy, roadmap, and execution
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
  • Deep expertise in experimentation, including A/B testing, hypothesis design, and statistical analysis
  • Experience working on early-stage or zero-to-one product initiatives (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) and building scalable dashboards
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods
