Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, timing standards, and presentation guidelines
Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for efficient meal assembly
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation during all stages of meal preparation
Support kitchen operations by managing multiple orders simultaneously while adhering to timing and quality expectations
Collaborate with team members on special dietary accommodations when needed
Uphold excellent food safety practices, including proper storage, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention
Experience
Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling are essential
Experience with fine dining environments or catering services enhances your suitability for this role, not necessary but preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is required
Strong background in meal preparation and serving within the food industry will support your success here
Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchens while maintaining attention to detail
Education: High school or equivalent, prefered but not required
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
