Linehaul Dispatcher- Hastings

We're now looking for an enthusiastic and professional dispatcher to join our Hastings based team in the sunny Hawke’s Bay due to the retirement of our current long-term dispatcher who has been part of the ETL team for a high number of years.

Emmerson Transport Limited is a company that operates more than 100 large units plus a host of other ancillary equipment which makes the company one of the largest independent operators in the transport industry. The Company operates out of several strategically placed North Island depots.

You will need to be an experienced transport dispatcher capable of controlling a number of trucks to meet specific KPI’s as well as a person who has the ability to multitask, think quickly, and know the importance of customer service.

The ideal candidate would have

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a dispatcher. Linehaul experience preferable.

A flexible, organised approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Understand the meaning of adding value to our customers business

High level of attention to detail and solution focused.

Excellent time management

A can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running

An understanding of Microsoft Office programs. E.g., Outlook, Word, Excel

Ability to work within a team environment and independently
