Job role: Machine OperativeLocation: MonmouthHours:One shifts is Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm and 6am-11am on a FridayAnother shift is 7am-5pm Monday to Thursday with Friday offSalary: £12.71 - £14.28 per hour. This goes up in incraments by 6 weeks you should be on |£13.50 and 12 weeks at the latest £14.28. This can be much quicker.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machinery to ensure efficient production processes.DutiesOperate a range of manufacturing machinerySet up and adjust machines using hand tools and tooling to meet production specifications.Monitor machine performance during operation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on equipment to minimise downtime.Handle materials safely, including loading, unloading, and organising components within the warehouse setting.Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine programming and control.Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.Document production data accurately for quality assurance purposes.RequirementsProven experience in running Machines in a manufacturing settingSetting machines is highly desireableBasic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during setup and operation.Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards.Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Physical capability to handle materials and operate machinery for extended periods.
