Our combined portfolio and reach allow us to bring life-changing diagnostic technology to more patients, providers, and health systems worldwide.

As the Manager, Market Access Liaison, you’ll have the chance to optimize payer performance and identify, investigate, and resolve coverage, reimbursement, and billing issues that may create barriers to patient access across the Abbott Cancer Diagnostics portfolio

What You’ll Work On

- Monitor payer, claims, reimbursement, and billing performance; investigate and prioritize material issues based on claim volume, financial impact, recurrence, and potential impact to patient access or reimbursement performance.

- Develop and coordinate resolution strategies across Key Account Managers (KAMs), Revenue Cycle, field sales, analytics, appeals, Legal, Compliance, and external billing partners, including support for out-of-network payer strategies and Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory Test (ADLT) collection and reporting processes as needed.

- Provide reimbursement and billing guidance, education, tools, and issue support to field sales and KAMs; support KAM-led payer outreach and translate recurring issues into scalable process improvements, policy clarification, and targeted education.

- Support appeal strategy for strategic payers and complex reimbursement issues, assess intervention effectiveness on a defined quarterly cadence, and communicate issue status, actions, outcomes, and recommendations to Market Access leadership and business partners.

- Maintain strong working knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement requirements, including EOBs, payer policies, contracting and coverage changes, ABN requirements, the Medicare 14-day rule, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding, accounts receivable, HIPAA, and EDI claims submission methods; apply strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder-management skills to improve cross-functional workflows.
