Job Description

Are you a practical, results-driven marketer who enjoys turning ideas into action?

Seeka is looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer who enjoys developing ideas, analysing results and delivering campaigns that make a real impact.

Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll support marketing, communications and brand activities across the wider Seeka business and associated brands. You'll be encouraged to bring forward new ideas, use data to support recommendations and take ownership of delivering approved initiatives from concept to completion.

If you're someone who naturally looks for opportunities, enjoys solving problems and prefers to get on with the job rather than wait to be told what to do, we'd love to hear from you.

About Seeka

Seeka is one of New Zealand's largest horticultural businesses, connecting growers and customers through every stage of the produce journey, from orchard to market.

Based at our Seeka 360 head office in Young Road, you'll enjoy:

• Working within a supportive and experienced team

• A beautiful campus-style workplace with landscaped grounds

• On-site walking track for lunchtime walks and fresh air breaks

• Lunchtime yoga sessions

• Free on-site parking

About the Role

This is a varied marketing role with a strong focus on campaign execution, digital marketing and communications.

You'll assist with the implementation of Seeka's marketing and communications strategy and special projects while coordinating day-to-day marketing activities across a range of brands, audiences and channels.

The role includes developing campaign ideas and recommendations for approval, implementing marketing initiatives, analysing campaign performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement, brand awareness and sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of marketing and communications strategies and special projects.

• Proactively identify marketing opportunities and develop campaign recommendations.

• Coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

• Manage and optimise digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and other relevant platforms.

• Assist with media buying, audience targeting and campaign optimisation.

• Monitor and analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Coordinate social media, website and email marketing content.

• Create and maintain marketing collateral and communications materials.

• Support internal communications, grower communications and stakeholder engagement activities.

• Assist with the planning and delivery of events and promotional activities.

• Manage relationships with suppliers, agencies and external partners.

About You

We're looking for an experienced marketer who combines creativity with commercial thinking and enjoys delivering measurable results.

You'll be practical, proactive and organised, with the confidence to bring forward ideas and back them up with data and insights.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum three years' experience in digital marketing, marketing, communications or a related role.

• Hands-on experience managing Meta and Google Ads campaigns.

• Experience with media buying, campaign optimisation and budget management.

• Strong understanding of Google Analytics (GA4), campaign reporting and digital marketing metrics.

• Ability to analyse marketing performance and translate insights into practical recommendations.

• Experience managing website content, social media channels and digital communications.

• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.

• Strong organisational and project management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute across a broad range of activities.

Success in This Role

The successful candidate will be someone who

  • Takes initiative and looks for opportunities to improve outcomes.
  • Brings ideas forward rather than waiting for direction.
  • Enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with others.
  • Uses data and insights to inform decisions.
  • Takes ownership and follows projects through to completion.
