Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, Weigh meats for sale, Wrap and package prepared meats, clean work area, tools, bins and machines, Completion of high school
Equipment and Machinery Experience
Cleavers, Knives, Power cutting tools, Saws, Grinding machine
Specific Skills
Cut beef, pork and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use, Remove bones from meat, Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, Cut poultry into parts, Prepare special orders, Cut carcasses, sides and quarters, knife care using honing steel and whet stone
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Work Setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Experience
