Medical Courier

Do you enjoy being on the road, working independently, and delivering great service every day? Pathlab is looking for reliable, customer-focused Courier Drivers to join our Logistics team and help ensure time-critical medical samples are transported safely and efficiently across the Waikato.

This is an important frontline role that supports healthcare services throughout the region. Every collection and delivery you make contributes to the diagnostic services that help care for patients every day.

About the role

As a Pathlab Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of medical samples between Pathlab sites, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders. You will spend the majority of your shift on the road and play a critical role in ensuring our services are delivered safely, reliably, and on time.

At Pathlab, safety comes first. We are looking for drivers who consistently demonstrate safe driving behaviours on both local and long distant journeys, make sound decisions in changing road conditions, and actively identify and manage risks to themselves and the public.

This is a predominantly field-based role. You will collect a Pathlab vehicle from our Tristram Street base and spend most of your shift travelling throughout the Waikato region.

Requirements for this role:

• A clean and current full NZ driver’s licence with a minimum of two years' driving experience.

• A confident driver in all environments,.

• Physically able to move freely in and out of vehicle and capabile of lifting and moving items as required.

• Available to work Monday through Sunday as rostered, including weekends and public holidays as required.

• Comfortable using computer and mobile technology.

• Communicates effectively with a wide range of people and values providing excellent customer service.

• Currently eligible to work in New Zealand.
