### **The Opportunity**

DeVry Greenhouses is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our Merchandising Team in Alberta! Merchandisers play a crucial role in our merchandising department, ensuring our products are displayed beautifully and effectively to attract and engage customers. If you have passion for creating eye-catching displays and enjoy working in dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

This role also includes travel between multiple store locations in the Edmonton area and requires someone who is comfortable driving a large sprinter-style van on a regular basis.

### **Responsibilities**

• Unloading shipping racks and setting up store displays
• Stocking, rotating, and maintaining the care of products
• Communicating effectively with clients, team leaders, and team members.
• Creating visually appealing promotional displays for clients.
• Ensuring attention to detail in all tasks.
• Driving a company - provided sprinter style van between store locations
• Loading, transporting, and managing carts safely and efficiently across sites.

### **Qualification**

• Willingness to listen and follow instructions from start to finish.
• Self-motivated with a high energy level.
• Physically fit.
• Dependable, reliable and consistent.
• Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Plant knowledge or merchandising experience is an asset but not required.
• Over 25 years of age and with valid drive's license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving a large sprinter-style van.

### **Working Conditions**

• Ability to work in an outdoor garden centre environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Casual wear (t-shirt, cap and safety vest provided by us)
• This is a physically demanding position

### **Compensation**

• Hourly wage range is $16.75-$18. Final offer will be based on experience and expertise.
