Motor Mechanic / Motor Technician

Langs Garage is seeking a Motor Mechanic / Motor Technician to join its busy service and repair centre in Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with minimum 39 hours per week and a minimum gross annual salary of €36,605.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of motor vehicle.
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical faults.
• Repair and replace defective components as required.
• Complete work safely and to the garage’s quality standards.
• Work with colleagues to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of work related experience; A relevant motor mechanic qualification is preferred; applicants who have reached at least the third year of a motor mechanic apprenticeship will also be considered.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Diagnostic experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good timekeeping, communication and customer service skills.
