Managing a portfolio of accounts, the full-time New York Licensed Property Underwriter will underwrite new and renewal business while assessing risks and determining coverage terms and premiums in a remote setting.

##### Key responsibilities

Underwrites new and renewal property and casualty business, analyzing policy forms and broker endorsement requests

Evaluates risks to determine acceptance, modification, or decline of coverage based on various factors

Maintains broker relationships and collaborates across teams to ensure timely and quality service to clients

##### Required qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting

Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses

* Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is a plus
