NHS PeoplePortal Programme Manager

Specific Responsibilities: -

• Local Project Leadership
• Provide senior leadership and overall project management for the organisation's NHS PeoplePortal implementation.
• Responsible for translating the national NHS PeoplePortal programme requirements into a clear, achievable and appropriately resourced local implementation plan.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, ensuring appropriate senior oversight, decision-making and escalation.
• Lead the local implementation team and coordinate contributions from technical, operational, HR, communications, learning and other specialist colleagues.
• Ensure that all implementation workstreams and domain activities are aligned, sequenced and delivered against agreed milestones.
• Provide visible leadership and delivery momentum throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Monitor delivery against scope, milestones, quality and expected outcomes, taking corrective action where required.
• Ensure that the organisation is appropriately prepared for each implementation stage and ultimately for go-live.
• Provide senior-level advice and assurance to organisational leadership on implementation progress, risks and readiness.
• Manage project team, including recruitment, objective setting, appraisals etc.
