NON-Qualified Teacher ECE

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable unqualified teacher to join our Avondale team.

Nurture Early Learning is a family-owned centre with a strong reputation for high-quality early childhood education and thoughtfully designed learning environments. Our Avondale centre has four separate learning rooms, a dedicated dining space and our large Treetops area, giving children and teachers plenty of opportunity for small-group experiences, creativity and exploration.

You do not need to be a qualified teacher for this role, but you do need to genuinely enjoy working with young children, be willing to learn, and understand the importance of calm, respectful relationships. You will work alongside an experienced teaching team who will support you to develop your knowledge and confidence in early childhood education.

Our curriculum is inspired by Te Whāriki and the Reggio Emilia approach, with a strong focus on children’s interests, creativity, independence and curiosity. We value our teachers as individuals and encourage them to bring their own strengths and interests into the centre.
