NZ National Strategic Account Manager (Food/FMCG/Fresh red meat)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Strategic Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic national accounts, building strong customer partnerships, and delivering sustainable growth through structured account planning, innovation, and value creation.
As a trusted advisor to key customers, you will develop and execute joint business plans, identify growth opportunities, strengthen stakeholder relationships, drive customer value delivery plans and work collaboratively across the organization to drive exceptional customer outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic national accounts.
Develop and execute joint business plans to deliver revenue growth, customer retention, and margin improvement.
Build and maintain relationships with senior decision makers and key stakeholders.
Lead structured customer engagement programs and business review processes.
Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet and expand existing business.
Drive customer value delivery plans to reduce total cost of ownership and differentiate Sealed Air as a solutions delivery partner.
Facilitate innovation initiatives, customer workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders to execute customer plans.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Skills
Proven experience in Strategic Account Management or Key Account Management.
Demonstrated success building long-term customer partnerships and delivering commercial growth.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Experience developing and implementing strategic business plans.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Project management and execution experience.
Experience facilitating customer business reviews and executive-level meetings.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and ERP systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
Equivalent commercial experience will also be considered.
Current New Zealand Driver's Licence required.
