Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

At SPCA, our Op Shops do more than offer great second-hand finds – they help fund the care and protection of animals across New Zealand. Every purchase and donation helps us give animals in need a better life.

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Op Shop Assistant to join our Botany team. You'll help keep the shop running smoothly, from welcoming customers and processing donations to merchandising stock and supporting our volunteers.

This role will be based at our Botany Op Shop, with flexibility to provide cover across our Howick, Beachlands and Manukau Op Shops as needed. Hours will be offered on a casual, as-required basis to cover leave, busy periods and weekends, so flexibility and availability are important.

Please note: Due to the casual, on-call nature of this role and the need to provide flexible cover across multiple locations, this opportunity is best suited to someone with availability during weekdays and weekends, including at short notice. The role won't be suitable for those whose availability is restricted by school or university commitments.

The key details:

Position: Casual Op Shop Assistant – Botany
