Operations and Performance Manager
Job Description
In this role, your key responsibilities will include managing administrative and MDT teams within the cancer centre and MDT team. Deliver appraisal and oversee mandatory training requirements for all staff within these teams. Assist in the validation of cancer performance management to ensure adherence to cancer waiting times guidance.
Support the governance arrangements within the team including audit, complaints, incidents, risk and health and safety.
To be responsible to the Cancer Centre Manager for financial performance relating to delegated budgets and operational performance of the MDT team
Represent the Cancer Centre Manager as required
We are looking for a candidate with the followingMinimum of 1st degree or equivalent experienceManagement qualification/relevant experienceEvidence of continuing personal developmentTrack record of successfully working in a multi-disciplinary teamSignificant experience of working in the NHS in a management positionStaff management and supervision of or leading a teamIntroducing new ways of workingExperience of project management and ability to work to deadlines
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of performance driven service management experience in the NHS and will be looking for the opportunity to develop their skills.
