About the Role

The **Operations Data Analyst** plays a key role in supporting greenhouse operations by managing operational data systems, analyzing labour productivity, and providing insights that help managers improve efficiency across our greenhouse sites.

This role sits at the intersection of **operations, labour management, and data analytics**. You will manage operational systems such as **i2i Proteus**, support timekeeping and production tracking, build reports and dashboards, and work closely with site managers to understand productivity trends and opportunities for improvement.

You will spend time both **analyzing data and working directly with greenhouse teams**, helping translate operational information into practical improvements in labour performance and workflow.

Spanish language skills are considered a **major asset** as many of our team members are Spanish-speaking.

Key Responsibilities

**1. Data Systems & Operational Support**

Manage operational data within the **i2i Proteus ERP system** and related web-based tools.

Maintain and manage **i2i receiving software** used in greenhouse bin-scale systems.

Ensure proper system configuration including

• Activity setup and linking
• Employee links
• Time clock links
• Location links

Configure and maintain **Poka-Yoke style controls** in time clock systems to ensure accurate labour tracking.

Set up new laptops and software for time clock systems and coordinate installations with the Facilities team.

Work with management to **create and maintain operational activities within the system.**

Assist payroll and HR teams with **employee setup and system updates when required.**

**2.** ***Data Integrity & System Maintenance***

Monitor and correct operational data within **i2i Proteus**.

Manage and respond to **daily correction requests** from operational teams.

Conduct **monthly reviews of shift structures and team configurations** to ensure systems reflect the current operation.

Troubleshoot system issues, follow established SOPs, and work with programmers when needed.

**3. Operational Training & System Support**

Provide training to supervisors and employees on

• Time clock punching systems
• Operational forms and leader tools
• Basic system troubleshooting

Support departments with training and onboarding for **i2i operational software and reporting tools.**

**4. Productivity Metrics & Dashboards**

Work with site managers to **define productivity benchmarks** for crop work and harvesting activities based on plant stage and crop type.

Maintain operational dashboards displayed in lunchrooms showing **team productivity and performance metrics.**

Ensure all time clock dashboards and display screens are functioning properly and showing accurate operational information.

**5. Reporting & Operational Analytics**

Create and analyze greenhouse operational reports using **Excel and Power BI**.

Develop productivity and labour efficiency reports for crops including

• Bell peppers
• Cucumbers

Update reports **bi-weekly** and present operational insights to site managers **monthly**.

Identify trends in

• Worker productivity
• Activity costs
• Operational efficiency
• Environmental and seasonal factors affecting performance.

**6. Labour Performance Insights**

Support managers with **data-driven insights on workforce productivity.**

Help identify **top-performing teams, underperforming activities, and cost drivers.**

Assist managers with performance feedback processes based on productivity metrics.

Support labour teams with **worker productivity evaluations and reporting.**

**7. Organizational Reporting**

Support quarterly workforce and operational meetings by gathering **HR analytics and productivity performance data** across sites.

Provide insights that support **continuous improvement initiatives and operational planning.**

Experience & Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in **data analysis, operations coordination, or systems management**

Experience working with **ERP or operational data systems**

Intermediate or advanced **Excel skills (reporting, pivot tables, dashboards)**

Experience with **Power BI or data visualization tools considered an asset**

Experience in **greenhouse, agriculture, manufacturing, or production environments is an asset**

Knowledge of **labour productivity tracking or operational reporting** is beneficial

Strong knowledge of **Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)**

Valid **Class 5 Driver’s License**
