Operations Manager

We are seeking applications for an Operations Manager in Nelson. In this position you will lead day-to-day regional operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, operational efficiency, staff development, and a positive workplace culture while partnering with national leadership to deliver consistent service excellence.

This is a permanent, part-time position of 32 hours per week.

The successful candidate will

Lead regional operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, service delivery, compliance, and operational performance.

Develop, coach, and support leaders and teams to build capability, engagement, and a high-performance culture.

Drive workforce planning, resource management, continuous improvement initiatives, and delivery of key business objectives.

Work in conjunction with the Business Development Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with referrers, suppliers and other regional stakeholders.

You don't need a healthcare background to succeed in this role — strong people leadership and business analytics skills are what will set you apart..

Strong people leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to coach, develop and hold teams to account.

Strong business analytics capability, with confidence using data to inform decisions and drive measurable business outcomes.

Strong operational and financial management skills, with the ability to deliver consistent results.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

A collaborative, resilient, and patient-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Experience in healthcare or a related service environment is preferred but not essential
