Prospa, EastPack’s Orchard Management division, is on the lookout for enthusiastic seasonal Orchard Workers to join our team in the Coromandel region.

About the Role

As an Orchard Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Orchard Manager and Supervisors with seasonal kiwifruit orchard tasks. Work is available on our orchards in Whangamata, Pauanui and Coroglen.

This is a fixed term seasonal role, starting early October until late December 2026. There is the potential for longer term work for those that prove themselves to be the right fit for the job. Your responsibilities will include:

Pruning

Thinning

Bud and flower counting

Kiwifruit canopy management

Ensuring health and safety standards are met

Applicants should possess the following:

Have your own reliable transport and full clean NZ driver's licence

Kiwifruit industry knowledge / orchard experience would be an advantage

Be a team player with a positive attitude

Able to follow instructions

An understanding and awareness of health and safety and safe work practices

A reasonable level of physical fitness and a love for working outdoors

Able to work 8am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday. Work will be available every day for those that want it, except for rainy days.
