• About the opportunity:
• We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters for projects we have scheduled to start ASAP, The work will involve:
• Surface prep of steel using scrapers, sandpaper, wire brushes, needle guns and abrasive blasting.
• Building, shaping and levelling of surfaces.
• Mixing and measurement of two pot/epoxy coatings.
• Application of both standard and industrial coatings to a high standard.
• Skills + Experience:

To be considered you will need

At least 3 years proven preparation and application experience working in a heavy industrial environment (or similar)

Knowledge about the safe use of coatings application processes, as well as the safe use of equipment and the handling of hazardous substances.

To be familiar with the preparation of metal in a marine environment which will include chemical solvent treatments.

Current Elevated Work Platform and Confined Workspace tickets (or be willing to get them).
