Bricklane Restaurant & Bar is seeking a skilled Bar & Wait Team member to join our team. This position is an integral part of our operation, providing exceptional service to our customers.
This is apart-time position working a minimum of20rostered hours per week. Flexibility is key, being available to work late nights and weekend shifts.
As a Bar & Wait Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to customer needs promptly and accurately
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the bar and restaurant areas, including clearing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a hygienic environment
Preparing and serving a variety of drinks, including alcoholic beverages, in accordance with company standards and legal regulations
Handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system efficiently
Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers
What you will bring:
Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Great attention to detail
Strong work ethic and able to work independently and as part of a close knit team
Knowledge of basic drink recipes and cocktail preparation
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
Flexible to work late night and weekend shift

The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanour, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
