Job Description
To support a growing behavioral healthcare practice, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will manage the registration process for outpatient services, handle a high volume of calls, and ensure accurate documentation and scheduling of patient appointments in a remote environment.
##### Key responsibilities
Handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to facilitate a positive customer/patient experience
Accurately documents patient demographic and health information into the electronic health record system
Schedules appointments based on intake assessments and provider availability
##### Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
One year of customer service or call center experience required, with an emphasis in healthcare preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
