Job Description
To support a growing behavioral health practice, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will manage the registration process for outpatient services, document patient information, and schedule appointments while working remotely.
##### Key responsibilities
Handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to ensure a positive patient experience
Accurately documents comprehensive demographic and health information into the electronic health record system
Schedules appointments based on intake assessments and provider availability
##### Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
One year of customer service or call center experience required, preferably in healthcare
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
