Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver

We are hiring AFTERNOON PART TIME professional independent contractor delivery drivers with economical vehicles to help us pick up medications from our CVS Pharmacy Specialty location in Columbia, SC and deliver them to local patients and to patients throughout the State of South Carolina/North Carolina/Georgia.

The schedule we are hiring for consists of working Monday through Friday. Rotate being on call forSaturday and Sunday occasionally. Drivers would pick up from a large CVS Specialty Hub located in Columbia, SC 29210. From there, we deliver specialty medications directly to critical patients throughout the Columbia Metro area and throughout the State of South Carolina, North Carolina, and parts of Georgia. These are high volume sites. **We need a driver to be at the pharmacy at 4:45pm** **Monday-Friday to pick-up deliveries. So this position is a late afternoon/night position. These deliveries could cover around a 150 mile plus radius.**

We will try to give a driver as many deliveries as we can, as long as we know the driver can meet the service requirement/deadline. Our dispatch team will also route the driver in the most efficient manner or route the driver according to package priority. Any Signed Paperwork or Medication Returns, Must be returned Same Day or Next Day back to the pharmacy. If After Hours, aka after 8pm, any Paperwork or Medication Returns Must be safely stored and returned the Next Day back to the pharmacy.

There are deliveries on Saturday and Sunday as well, but we will schedule drivers in accordingly.

ROUTINE - 4HR RATES

0 - 8 Miles - $6 per stop

9 - 40 Miles - $0.66 Cents Per Mile

41-100 Miles - $0.71 Cents Per Mile

101 Miles & Over - $0.78 Cents Per Mile

(All miles are calculated One Way, starting from the Pick-Up Location)

STAT - 2HR RATES

0 - 9 Miles - $7 per stop

10 - 40 Miles - $0.70 Cents Per Mile

41-100 Miles - $0.76 Cents Per Mile

101 Miles & Over - $0.83 Cents Per Mile

(All miles are calculated One Way, starting from the Pick-Up Location)

**The start date for this position will begin ASAP**. We will immediately start taking phone interviews this week and next week. Then we will hire our top candidates and start the training process.

1 week processing period, then paid weekly on Fridays. Weekly payments via Direct Deposit. Full Time Pay Range between $550 to $1,000 plus per week. Pay Range Varies depending on Route and Number of daily stops.

Pharmaceutical Delivery Experience a plus

Must have an ECONOMICAL VEHICLE (a minimum of 25 miles per gallon or preferably better)

Must have a GPS

MUST HAVE AN ANDROID or APPLE POWERED SMART PHONE - MANDATORY!!!

Must have great customer service skills

Must be responsible

Must be a team player

Must be courteous to our customers and to our patients

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Must have car insurance, drivers license, and social security card
