Pharmacy Technician

Hours: 35 hours per week, with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week when required.

Contract: Fixed-term contract ending 30 April 2027.

Days: Monday and Friday, subject to business requirements.

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with occasional early starts as required.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare, dispense, and manage investigational products in accordance with study protocols

Maintain accurate drug accountability records and inventory logs

Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory standards

Assist in protocol review and site initiation activities

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation of study medications

Support audits and inspections with meticulous record-keeping

What We’re Looking For:

NZQA Level 5 Pharmacy Technician

Experience with aseptic preparation and/or Vaccination would be a bonus

Experience in clinical trials or investigational drug handling preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Passion for precision and patient safety

This is a unique opportunity for a pharmacy technician to be involved in clinical trials. You will collaborate closely with study coordinators, research nurses, assistants, and investigating doctors, contributing to the delivery of a wide variety of therapeutics.
