About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in our Napier office. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects from inception through to completion. You will play a critical part in ensuring that our projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, whilst maintaining our high standards of quality and client satisfaction. This position offers the opportunity to manage diverse projects and lead a team in a dynamic construction environment.

Key responsibilities

Lead projects from start to finish

Oversee complex earthworks, civil construction, infrastructure, or energy projects

Manage full accountability for all aspects of the project including financials and progress claims

Manage programming, quality control, and resourcing

Manage the client relationship

Lead a high level team of experts

What we're looking for

Proven project management experience in complex earthworks and/or civil infrastructure

Strong leadership, team management and communication skills

Solid commercial acumen including contract management and financial oversight

Practical, hands-on background with the ability to lead from the front

Experience managing relationships with clients, consultant engineers, and council inspection staff

Sound knowledge of H&S, Quality and Environmental requirements in relation to civil construction works
