Public Health Officer

**Responsibilities**

• Design, coordinate, and oversee clinical research projects related to public health issues.
• Collect, manage, and analyse health data using statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, SAS, or R.
• Develop and maintain databases using SQL to facilitate efficient data retrieval and management.
• Utilise programming skills in R and Python for advanced data analysis and modelling.
• Interpret research findings to inform public health policies and programmes.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including epidemiologists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements during research activities.

**Requirements**

• Proven experience in clinical research within a public health setting.
• Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, SAS, or R.
• Competence in programming languages including R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with SQL for database management.
• Knowledge of public health principles, epidemiology, and healthcare systems.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
