and play a critical role in ensuring the right parts are available at the right
time, across our nationwide network.
This is an opportunity to work within a complex
inventory environment, managing the replenishment of thousands of products
sourced from suppliers around the world. Your decisions will directly impact
customer service, equipment uptime, and business performance.

*The
role:*Based at our Christchurch Head Office, you
will work closely with suppliers, freight providers, branch teams and internal
stakeholders to ensure inventory is available to support customer demand across
our national network.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be
responsible for managing supplier purchasing activity, maintaining stock
availability and supporting the smooth flow of inventory across TDX. This is a
hands-on role that combines purchasing, inventory management and supplier
coordination, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
within the Supply Chain team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing
inventory replenishment, processing purchase orders, coordinating freight and
shipping activities, monitoring stock levels, and providing pricing,
availability and ETA information to our branches. You will also work closely
with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues, improve
service levels and support ongoing business performance.
About You
You are a proactive and commercially minded supply
chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes
pride in delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues.
You will bring at least five years' experience in
purchasing, procurement, inventory planning or a similar supply chain role,
ideally within a business managing a large and diverse inventory range. You
will be comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel, have strong analytical
and problem-solving skills, and be confident making decisions based on
inventory, demand and supplier information.
Most importantly, you will be highly organised,
detail-focused and able to build positive working relationships across the
business. You will be equally comfortable working independently or as part of a
collaborative team environment.

Inventory, stock replenishment, demand
and indent requests
Process purchase orders with our valued suppliers
Ensure the most efficient shipping
method at the best price is secured
Provide price, availability and ETAs to staff
Regularly
report on purchasing activities and price variances
Monitor stock levels and anticipate
stock required to ensure that sufficient levels are maintained

You will be a self-starter and display
commercial acumen
Demonstrate knowledge of
DMS/ERP/Inventory forecasting systems
