As they continue to evolve, they are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance leader to play a key role in driving quality performance across their site.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll play a key part in maintaining food safety and quality standards, developing your team, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day quality assurance activities across the site

Supervise, coach and develop a team of Quality Officers

Manage product testing, verification, investigations and product release

Coordinate audits, quality reporting and corrective actions

* Champion food safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' working experience within the New Zealand food processing industry

Proven team leadership experience with the ability to develop and support others

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels

Sound knowledge of food safety, quality and compliance systems

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred:

Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management or a related discipline
