Job Description
- This is a full-time, in-person, service opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. READ USA's mission is to open pathways for children in under-resourced communities with book choice and ownership, peer-to-peer tutoring, professional literacy instruction development for educators all to positively impact grade level reading proficiency, workforce development, building a teacher pipeline, and ending the cycle of generational poverty. The proposed VISTA project aligns with the Education and Economic Opportunity focus areas. The VISTA project will seek to expand capacity building and sustainability efforts by generating resources and systems that will allow us to expand into other communities and expects to benefit 52,000 individuals from under-resourced communities.

Member Duties : VISTA will develop a comprehensive volunteer recruitment/management process. The VISTA Members will focus on developing a comprehensive volunteer and tutor recruitment and management process.
