We're well regarded by the community we serve and enjoy positive relationships with the GP practice, pharmacy and the DHB. This helps us provide the best possible care for our residents.
About the role
The successful applicant will work as part of our supportive nursing team. Once orientated, you'll take responsibility for leading a shift of Health Care Assistants. You'll have the authority to make decisions and the 24/7 support of nursing colleagues and management for those occasions when a second opinion will reassure you that you're doing the right thing.
This is a job for someone who can make decisions and take responsibility but enjoys the security of knowing they have the backing and active support of a team behind them.

Skills and experience
The successful applicant will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a genuine desire to care for the elderly.
You will be willing to undertake training to develop your own skills and to benefit the facility.
You will be a clear communicator - able to discuss resident issues with our team, the wider health care team, residents and their families.
You will be a person who likes to co-operate with and cares about others - both residents and colleagues.
