Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a permanent, full-time Reporting Analyst to join the Strategy and Planning team. The role is based primarily in Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University’s Pipitea campus, however offers flexible working based on agreement with manager.

You will
Be a motivated and collaborative reporting professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear, meaningful information.
Be comfortable working across technical and business areas, managing competing priorities, and building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Bring a proactive, customer-focused approach and a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key requirements
Strong SQL skills, ideally within Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server environments, with the ability to work confidently with complex datasets.
Experience using data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI to communicate information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated business analysis skills, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, testing solutions, and working with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong self-management skills, including the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute proactively within a collaborative team.
A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent professional experience in reporting, analytics, information systems, or a related discipline.
