Job Description
Join PwC Canada as a Risk Management Associate to support clients in managing risks, enhancing controls, and navigating regulatory challenges.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing
- Provide advisory and practical support across various specialist risk and compliance areas.
- Support clients in improving risk management and internal control capabilities across industries.
- Enhance value delivered by internal audit, compliance, and risk management functions through advisory, outsourcing, and co-sourcing solutions.
- Participate in engagements covering governance, operational effectiveness, resource optimization, and compliance audits.
- Deliver advisory services related to financial, operational, strategic, regulatory, and emerging risks.
- Complete audit or advisory work within established timelines and budgets.
- Maintain clear communication with engagement leaders to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
- Document audit evidence clearly and validate its quality and relevance.
- Analyze the impact of control deficiencies on financial data and audit or advisory strategies.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships within teams and with clients.
- Identify business development opportunities to promote services and strengthen client relationships.
About You
The company is looking for
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed post-secondary studies.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- Curiosity and critical thinking skills to challenge the status quo and propose new approaches.
- Ability to solve complex risk management and regulatory issues with tailored client solutions.
- Openness, intellectual humility, and receptiveness to feedback.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to collaborate in diverse teams.
- Interest in financial services, engineering, public sector, or related industries (an asset).
- Understanding of business management, operational effectiveness, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort learning new tools.
- Continuous learning mindset and desire to develop new skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

- Authorization to work in Canada for the full duration of the role and availability to travel as needed.
