Job Description

Your role as Sales Development Representative

Reporting to Tessa Goudy Manager Sales Development, your mission is to play a pivotal role in our vibrant sales team. You'll be instrumental in driving our business growth by identifying and qualifying net new potential customers, fueling the sales pipeline, and contributing to the overall success of our dynamic sales unit. What you’ll be doing

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target industries. Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, social media, and other tools, to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualification: Engage with leads to understand their business needs and assess their fit for our products/services. Conduct thorough qualification to ensure prospects meet predefined criteria before passing them to the sales team.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with prospective customers through effective communication and rapport-building techniques. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to understand target accounts and tailor outreach strategies accordingly. Provide valuable insights and feedback to optimize the sales process.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. Regularly report on key performance metrics and contribute to pipeline forecasting.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Previous experience in sales or a related role is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Proven experience in a sales development, account development, or business development role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software (SalesForce, SalesLoft, etc.) and sales automation tools

Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is essential for this position. You may be required to communicate in French and English.
