Aderant is seeking a Sales Learning and Development Specialist.

Role Description

Helping our clients succeed is the passion of our team here at Aderant – and the Sales Training Specialist plays a crucial role in that process. From onboarding new hires to the Sales and Marketing teams to helping organize impactful training events, this role keeps everyone aligned, engaged, and contributes directly to the success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with managers
  • Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods
  • Conduct effective onboarding and orientation sessions
  • Become SME in departmental processes and products (i.e., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Work with departmental leaders to assist with opportunities for ongoing development
  • Resolve any specific challenges and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in a training capacity and understanding of the sales process
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
  • Experience in creating learning plans to support business and growth strategies
  • Adept at building strong relationships across a diverse group of people and possess indirect influencing skills to drive results
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, multi-tasking, problem resolution, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
  • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Analytical and able to report and present data & information across all levels of the organization
  • 2-4 years experience in training development or similar experience
