Sales Manager

**About the role**

Edwards & Hardy Roofing is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team in Palmerston North. This is a full-time position that will be instrumental in driving sales and expanding our customer base in the region. As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating your own sales and managing our sales representatives, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

**What you'll be doing**

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Manage, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their individual and team goals
• Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Implement and maintain effective sales processes, tools, and reporting
• Represent the company at industry events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders

**What we're looking for**

• Significant experience in a sales management role, preferably in the roofing or construction industry
• Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing sales teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Familiarity with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
• Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced environment
• Proven abibility to close sales.
