Salesperson

• We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Counter Salespeople to join our team in our busy hardware store.
• This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be dealing with tradespeople, DIY customers and members of the public, helping them find the right products and providing excellent service.
• What you'll be doing;
• Serving customers at the trade counter and over the phone
• Taking orders and processing sales accurately
• Advising customers on hardware, tools, building materials and related products
• Preparing and organising customer orders
• Receiving, checking and putting away stock
• Keeping the trade counter and surrounding areas clean and well organised
• Building strong relationships with regular trade customers
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive store team
• What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is

• Friendly, reliable and approachable
• Confident dealing with customers
• A good communicator with a positive attitude
• Organised and able to work in a busy environment
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Interested in hardware, tools, building products or DIY
• Previous trade-counter, hardware or sales experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
