Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing of the Axis Harvest Hall, platform, Axis machinery, harvest equipment and other equipment on a scheduled basis
• Clean and set-up the MPU units, mushroom fingers etc. for following day harvest as directed by mgmt. team. using the MPU cleaning procedure
• Ensures tracking and sign-off of all completed duties as assigned to the team
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Gather and empty trash, removing garbage bags and disposing in waste skips
• Bring mushroom stems bins to designated area
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• Operates floor scrubber
• Move supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
• Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of harvest facilities, machinery and equipment on a nightly basis
• Performs any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous farm hygiene/sanitation experience
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery

Hours of work

• 7:00pm - 6:00am, any 5 days/week
