## Role Summary

The Semiconductor Tool Installation Superintendent will lead and supervise installation, setup, and commissioning of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, timely, and specification-compliant deployments.

This role coordinates across engineers, contractors, tool owners, QA, and construction teams to remove constraints, drive schedules, and maintain quality and safety standards.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate meetings and coordination among installation resources, field service engineers (FSEs), fab personnel, contractors, and tool owners to identify and remove constraints
  • Develop and align achievable weekly work plans with installation teams and report progress, resource use, and roadblocks to the Tool Installation Program Manager and Construction Coordinator
  • Review project specifications, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and schematics to define installation requirements and procedures
  • Coordinate rigging, lifting, move paths, positioning, and alignments of heavy equipment, ensuring appropriate tools and safety measures are used
  • Act as Subfab Coordinator between contractors and tool owners to ensure equipment routings are coordinated and placed in correct routing zones
  • Create and enforce installation procedures, safety protocols, equipment handling, and assembly instructions
  • Conduct quality inspections, audits, and verification of workmanship and completeness of equipment installations; coordinate with QA for required testing
  • Identify installation hazards and risks, develop mitigation strategies, conduct safety briefings, inspections, and investigations as needed
  • Ensure all installation activities comply with OSHA and company safety policies

## Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of construction or equipment installation experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics
  • Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating contractors, rigging operations, and multi-disciplinary installation teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, production/fab environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

## Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA safety certification (e.g., OSHA 30) or equivalent safety training
  • Rigging, crane, or heavy-equipment handling certifications
  • Experience with semiconductor fab environments and tool commissioning workflows
  • Project management training or certification (e.g., PMP) and experience developing detailed work plans

## Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly salary range: $24.50 – $34.65 per hour
