Job Description
Owning the development of high-quality Android features, the contract Senior Android Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain consumer-facing experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity with occasional travel to Austin, TX.
##### Key responsibilities
Design and implement Android features from technical design through testing and release
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to influence product vision and roadmap
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of Android architecture and engineering standards
##### Required qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in building and shipping production Android applications
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development practices
Experience with Jetpack Compose and/or XML-based views for UI development
Proven experience in designing and maintaining Android application architectures
Solid understanding of Android platform fundamentals and networked API integration
