Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Billing Specialist will ensure timely resolution of coding and claim edits, accurately bill patient claims to insurance companies, and conduct follow-ups on account balances while maintaining flexibility in work hours.

##### Key responsibilities

Resolve coding and claim edits to facilitate timely claim generation

Accurately bill patient claims and follow up on unpaid, underpaid, or overpaid balances

Collaborate with patients and insurance companies to secure payments and manage denial appeals

##### Required qualifications

High School Diploma / GED

Minimum of 3 years of physician billing experience

Working knowledge of the claim denial process and Health Insurance Claim Form (HCFA)

Ability to navigate multiple programs and learn complex computer systems

Flexibility to work full-time (40 hours/week) during normal business hours with potential overtime
