Job Description
Driving the requirements lifecycle, the full-time Senior Business Analyst (Product Owner) will translate high-level business needs into actionable user stories, ensuring clarity and completeness for development teams while collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineering in a remote environment.
##### Key responsibilities
Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle from intake through sprint readiness
Translate business needs into well-structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Lead requirements gathering sessions and maintain a prioritized backlog for sprint execution
##### Required qualifications
BS degree and 8-12 years of experience in a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst role within an Agile environment
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or Confluence
Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions and backlog refinement activities
Experience working directly with software development teams and ensuring work meets the Definition of Ready
Strong ability to drive structured discussions and extract clarity from ambiguity
