Job Description
Focused on reinsurance accounting and financial analysis for life and annuity products, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will manage technical accounting matters, prepare analyses for complex transactions, and coordinate with external auditors while working in a hybrid environment.
##### Key responsibilities
Support research and documentation of technical accounting matters related to reinsurance under various frameworks
Lead components of the reinsurance accounting close process, including journal entries and financial reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new reinsurance arrangements and drive process improvements
##### Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a High School Diploma required
3+ years of experience in reinsurance accounting for life and annuity products
Proficiency in accounting principles specific to life insurance and annuity products
CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
Experience in public accounting, including financial statement preparation and audit
