To support the design development of reactor structures and components, the contract Senior Mechanical Engineer - WA Licensed will work remotely, focusing on ASME Section III nuclear design, preparing design specifications and reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

##### Key responsibilities

Perform detailed design, analysis, and documentation for ASME Section III Class HB and Section VIII division 2 vessels

Develop and maintain design specifications, calculations, and qualification reports in compliance with nuclear codes and standards

Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to support audits, design reviews, and code certification processes

##### Required qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university

Minimum of six years of equipment/component design experience, or ten years with relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience

Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III and/or VIII division 2

Proficiency in finite element stress analysis and commercial mechanical stress analysis tools, particularly ANSYS

Familiarity with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
